PIERCE COUNTY TRAILS DAY

The last Saturday each July, in collaboration with governments, agencies, and non-profit groups (and, well, anyone!) we organize events throughout the county for all ages and abilities to promote outdoor activities from birdwatching, hiking, skateboarding, biking, park cleanups, habitat restoration, trail maintenance and much, much more!

WHY TRAILS DAY?

Life is busy and not everyone makes a habit of getting outside. Many do not even know where to go for basic outdoor recreation. To address this, and promote parks and trails in general, we recruit event hosts and coordinate the promotion of their Trails Day activities. Our goal is to make getting outside and being active easy and accessible while also fostering a sense of stewardship. It's amazing and affordable fun for all.
