TRAILS & ALES

Trails & Ales has traditionally been an informal gathering at a pub to socialize with other trail enthusiasts and learn more about our region’s trail network. However, during the pandemic, Trails & Ales is an online BEVINAR — a webinar you can enjoy at home — with your choice of drink, naturally!

 

On March 18th, 2022, we featured the Tacoma to Puyallup Trail (T2P) — part of the SR 167 Gateway Project. WSDOT project representatives joined us to talk about this important regional project. They provided an update on the status of its phases, and announced an online open house to solicit public feedback on certain design aspects.

Past Trails & Ales Videos

In 2021 we unveiled our Trails Scorecard Program, an effort to assess how well local jurisdictions are supporting trails through policy, planning, funding, promotion, and coordination with other entities. We also discussed using technology to help local jurisdictions develop trails faster. Learn about it by watching the video below:
