ASHFORD BIKE TRAIL FEASIBILITY
ForeverGreen Trails is working with Mount Rainier Business Alliance (MRBA) to examine the possibility of a multi-day destination-oriented trail system primarily for bicycle use.
MRBA is a nonprofit member organization of FGT. They are seeking to better activate recreation opportunities outside of Mount Rainier National Park around Ashford and better utilize the spring and autumn shoulder seasons to stimulate the local economy via a trail system that will generate multi-day trips by riders, walkers, runners, etc. In 2024, a feasibility study will be undertaken to explore the issues regarding these goals which will include outreach to key stakeholders.
