Trails & Tales brings Pierce County’s trails to life through immersive stories, local culture, and community connection. Each event highlights the landscapes and voices that make our region unique—while showcasing ForeverGreen Trails’ work to protect, connect, and expand the trail network. Explore the trail, discover the story, and support a healthier, more connected Pierce County.
We are partnering with our friends at Pierce County Parks to celebrate the opening of the Parkland Community Trail with an on-trail event. We will walk from the Sprinker Recreation Center to the Parkland Prairie, where the ribbon cutting will take place. Along the way we will learn about this long-awaited trail, efforts to reforest Parkland, mobility safety and health issues in this area, an upcoming community planning effort, and more! Bring a friend!
