GET INVOLVED

Trails are amazing resources, but they don't just happen. They are the result of diligent work at all levels to improve the liveability of Pierce County. Our volunteer program is a way for people to invest their skills, minds, and hearts in support of ForeverGreen's mission. When you volunteer with us:
 

  • You will have the power to increase public awareness about the building of the regional trail system.
     

  • You have the opportunity to gain personal growth and a sense of purpose in knowing you are changing the way things are done in Pierce County.

 

Every task, no matter how small, has a significant beneficial effect on the bigger picture.

Volunteer Opportunities

Year-round volunteer support is essential to meet the ever-expanding needs of ForeverGreen Trails programs. We need volunteers for:

​

  • Tabling at events and assisting with outreach and education in the community
     

  • Our Board of Directors: to guide the organization and help develop its capacity
     

  • To advocate for trails at public meetings and to elected officials so that trails are properly planned, designed, funded, and maintained.

 

Volunteers can offer their time daily, weekly, or monthly.
